Wine lovers rejoice for David Meadows, scientist and wine connoisseur, has solved the wine hangover problem with a new invention, according to CultureMap.

David Meadows and son Derek have patented a formula that uses ionic exchange resin beads to remove sulfites and histamines that cause unwanted side effects. Simply place the special wand in your glass for eight minutes and it removes 95 percent of the sulfites and histamines that cause unpleasant side effects, including headaches and nasal congestion.

Wands can be used in reds, whites, and even sparkling wines (although it removes the effervescence).

The father and son duo’s Grapevine-based business has partnered with various restaurant and wine bars in Dallas and Fort Worth. It will also hit the store shelves soon. Eight and 24-packs can be purchased online through the company’s website
