Beat the Streets fosters youth development for student-athletes in underserved communities via mentoring and life guidance taught in quality wrestling programs. BSN President Terry Babilla says the donation is about not just helping young wrestlers win on the mat, but "in life, too."

The $1M gift is from Larry Kimbler, the former chairman of the American Foundation for the Blind, and his wife Susan Kimbler.
Envision is one of the largest service providers to, and employers of, people who are blind or visually impaired in Texas. Envision Dallas said its aim is to provide life-changing opportunities to a population that is often overlooked.

North Texas Giving Day lasts more than a day—its 14th annual event will kick off September 1 and run through September 22. To get both nonprofits and North Texans ready for it, the Communities Foundation of Texas is partnering with software company Mightycause for a new fundraising platform this year.
“We want to continue to grow the spirit of giving by engaging and activating more donors as each individual gift, no matter the size, helps the collective,” says CFT Senior VP Monica Christopher.
