NTT Data International, the giant Japanese IT services company, is moving its North American headquarters to Plano’s Legacy West.
The company, which already had its office on Granite Parkway in Plano, is making the move after completing its acquisition of Plano-based Dell Services for $3.1 billion late last year.
The Dallas Business Journal reported that NTT Data has signed a five-floor lease for 126,715 square feet of space at One Legacy West — roughly 41 percent of the building that is under construction. The building is part of the $3.2 billion, 255-acre Legacy West mixed-use development.
The DBJ reported that the lease runs for more than a decade.
Plans are for the headquarters to open in early summer, once the 14-story, 307,824-square-foot office tower is completed at 7950 Legacy Drive, the Business Journal said.
NTT Data plans to move 600 workers from other Plano locations and from throughout the nation to the Legacy West headquarters.
