NorthPark Center Offering Guided Tours of Art Collection

For those looking for a deeper, more insightful dive into the works, the Dallas mall has teamed with Dallas Art Fair for guided tours.

NorthPark Center

NorthPark Center has long been known for its mix of couture and culture, but now shoppers can get a more concerted look at the mall’s contemporary art collection with free guided tours.

Sure, shoppers can take their own walk equipped with an information pamphlet from the concierge desk. For those looking for a deeper, more insightful dive into the works, the Dallas mall has teamed with Dallas Art Fair for guided tours.

Each tour will be led by some of the area’s top curators and art dealers including Justine Ludwig, director of exhibitions and senior curator at Dallas Contemporary, and Talley Dunn, art dealer and founder of Talley Dunn Gallery, according to D Magazine.

The collection includes pieces from renowned artists such as Frank Stella and Andy Warhol. Mark di Suvero’s iconic red steel sculpture, Ad Astra, climbs up 48 feet within the mall’s NorthCourt.

The next tour on the docket is 6:30 p.m. Jan. 31 with Alison Hearst, who serves as assistant curator at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. The tour will meet at Green House Market on Level 2 near the AMC ticket center.
