Dallas Startup Pitch Event to Focus On Fitness

The three-day program at NoD Coworking in Dallas will intertwine fitness, technology, and entrepreneurship concepts and feature coaches and experienced startup professionals.

Entrepreneurs and self-starters are being called to the third annual North Dallas Startup Weekend to pitch and form ideas while immersing themselves in the world of fitness.

The three-day program at NoD Coworking in Dallas will intertwine fitness, technology, and entrepreneurship concepts and feature coaches and experienced startup professionals.

Beginning July 28, each team will have 54 hours to bring startup ideas to life under the guidance of mentors. The teams will be judged and awarded at the end of the weekend, and people of all skill sets are welcome.

Past Startup Weekend projects included augmented reality, smartphone apps, interactive fitness, and mobile games.

To keep creativity and energy afloat, NoD Coworking has invited yoga and fitness instructors to lead in daily activities from morning stretches to breathing exercises.

The first day will involve individuals pitching 60-second ideas and formulating teams, while the second and third days will consist of strategy, preparing entrepreneurial ideas, and presenting to business experts.

Speakers at the event include Marc Nathan, vice president of client strategy at Miller Egan Molter & Nelson and Launch DFW CEO Jasmin Brand.
